At the centre of this project is my young son, who is the starting point for exploring our ancestors across many generations. To make sense of all this information, I've organised the material into eight narrative family histories — one for each of his great-grandparents.
Each history is presented as a chronological account, tracing the line through time. They include ancestral biographies, photographs, places of residence, occupational backgrounds, and notes on how each branch connects. The histories are provided as open Google Docs, the same documents I use day-to-day, which ensures they are always up-to-date.
Below is a simple diagram showing the eight family branches, followed by the links to each narrative.
